Job Description
The Clinical Therapist provides individualized and group therapy, conducts bio-psychosocial assessments, and develops treatment and discharge plans for clients with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders within a facility.
They coordinate care with community agencies, hospitals, courts, and other providers, ensuring comprehensive client support.Responsibilities include preparing treatment plans, documenting progress, offering crisis intervention, and facilitating client education and placement.The role involves maintaining communication with referral sources, acting as a liaison with the Utilization Review Department, and ensuring timely documentation.Qualifications include a valid license (LMFT required), a Master’s Degree, and experience in mental health treatment, especially with trauma and dual diagnoses. Experience in group facilitation and working in TN is necessary.
