Job Description

Join our team as a Mental Health Professional for the NEXUS Program, providing therapeutic and psychological services to offenders.

Essential functions include administering treatment and educational screenings, developing standards for programming and referrals, ensuring quality assurance through audits of treatment and education plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Responsibilities also involve collaborating with staff on program evaluation, preparing reports, facilitating group and individual counseling, delivering staff training, and supporting smooth after-care transitions.

Qualifications require a Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology/Counseling, five years of relevant experience, current Montana licensure (LSW or LCPC), and strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred experience includes working with offenders, correctional environments, and familiarity with therapeutic models like MRT or cognitive behavioral therapy.

Position offers full-time work at $25-$30/hr, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development. Relocation to Lewistown, MT is required. Work involves in-person duties with occasional travel and flexible shifts.
