Mental Health Therapist

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated *Mental Health Therapist* to provide therapeutic services to diverse clients with issues such as PTSD, anxiety, mood, substance use, thought, personality, depression, and relational challenges.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, risk assessment, intake evaluations, developing treatment plans, conducting individual, group, and family counseling, monitoring progress, and providing psycho-education on life skills, coping, and mindfulness. The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, documenting sessions, and mentoring interns.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or psychiatry, with licensure in Michigan, experience with TBI patients preferred, and at least 2 years post-master’s experience. Must be reliable, effective communicator, computer literate, and able to pass drug screening.

Contract position, $35-$55/hour, approximately 20 hours/week, requiring in-person work in Grand Rapids, MI. Relocation prior to start is necessary.
