Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated *Mental Health Therapist* to provide high-quality therapeutic services to diverse clients facing psychological challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, mood, substance use, thought, personality, depression, relational, and adjustment issues.


  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, intake evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize individual, group, and family counseling, monitor progress, and offer psycho-education on life skills, coping, mindfulness, and community reintegration.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate cultural competence, and mentor interns as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, submit reports, and provide weekly updates to stakeholders.

    • Qualifications include a Master’s degree with licensure in Michigan, experience with TBI patients preferred, strong communication skills, reliable transportation, and a minimum of 2 years post-Master’s experience. This contract role offers $35-$55/hour, 20 hours/week, and requires in-person work in Grand Rapids, MI. Candidates must pass a drug screen and be able to relocate prior to starting.
