Job Description

The School Mental Health Therapist provides individual and group counseling to elementary students in a supportive school environment.
They collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to address mental health needs, deliver consultation and training, and coordinate services for effective care.
The role involves documenting clinical notes, offering evidence-based education, and making referrals to support services.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, an active Michigan license (LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP or equivalent), CPR/BLS certification, and experience with Play Therapy is preferred.
