Job Description

The School Mental Health Therapist is a full-time, school-year position based in Muskegon, MI, providing mental health support to elementary students in a supportive environment.

Deliver individual and group counseling to children and adolescents.

Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to coordinate mental health services.

Offer consultation, education, and training to school personnel.

Document clinical notes accurately in the electronic health record system.

Provide evidence-based education in individual and classroom settings.

Make appropriate referrals to internal and external resources.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a behavioral/mental health field, an active Michigan license (e.g., LMSW, LPC), CPR/BLS certification, and experience with play therapy is preferred.
