Job Description

The _MSW/LMHC Therapist_ provides counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to clients and families, developing treatment and discharge plans, and offering crisis intervention as needed.

  • Collects patient data through interviews, tests, and observations to identify issues and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches or referrals.
  • Manages a specialized caseload, conducts research and assessments, and prepares individualized studies for admission, placement, or discharge.
  • Implements or arranges therapeutic interventions during crises, monitors treatment effectiveness, and recommends service modifications.
  • Collaborates with legal and treatment agencies, other professionals, and paraprofessionals, referring clients to appropriate services.
  • Participates in clinical reviews, policy development, and training sessions; may lead or supervise staff.
  • May serve as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications include a Master’s degree (preferred), at least 1 year of social work experience, a valid driver’s license, and preferably bilingual in Spanish. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with full-time, in-person work options during day or night shifts.
