Music Therapist – Board Certified

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Music Therapist to join our healthcare team, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being across diverse patient populations.

Develop and implement personalized music therapy plans tailored to individual needs

Conduct individual and group sessions using various therapeutic techniques

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

Document clinical activities in compliance with HIPAA and CPT billing standards

Provide specialized therapy for populations such as children with autism, dementia patients, and individuals recovering from addiction

Educate families and caregivers to support ongoing progress

Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and safety standards

Requirements: Certification (MT-BC), experience with diverse populations, knowledge of behavioral therapy, medical documentation, and CPT coding. Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability are essential.
