Job Description
The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) provides critical leadership in neonatal resuscitation, NICU patient care, and care planning for both term and preterm infants.
They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment plans, perform assessments, and manage acute and ongoing neonatal care, including resuscitation, intubation, line placements, and ventilator management.
Additional responsibilities include participating in quality improvement, educational activities, telemedicine support, mentorship, and committee involvement.
They must maintain current licensure, certifications, and relevant experience, with a minimum of two years in a level III nursery.
Schedule includes 24/7 coverage with day and night shifts, no formal call expectations, and a focus on providing family-centered, high-quality neonatal care in a collaborative environment.
Physical demands involve standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to PPE, with a commitment to professionalism, safety, and continuous learning.
