Job Description

The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) role involves leading neonatal resuscitations, developing care plans, and managing infants in the NICU in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Work schedule includes 24/7 coverage with rotating 12- and 24-hour shifts, primarily at Bend NICU, with no formal call duties but a team-oriented approach.
Key clinical responsibilities encompass neonatal assessments, resuscitations, medication administration, procedures (e.g., intubation, line placements), and family communication.
Non-clinical duties include quality improvement projects, educational activities, mentoring, and participation in committees.
Required qualifications include certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, licensure in Oregon, and at least two years of NICU experience.
