Job Description
The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) provides leadership in neonatal resuscitation, manages NICU admissions, and develops care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. They perform assessments, initiate treatments, and support neonatal transport and family-centered care. The role includes participating in quality improvement, education, and mentorship activities, with responsibilities for day and night shifts in a 24/7 NICU setting. Clinical skills required include intubation, resuscitation, line placements, and ventilator management. Non-clinical duties involve QA/QI projects, education programs, and committee participation. The position demands Oregon licensure, certification, minimum two years NICU experience, and proficiency with EMR systems. It offers a leadership role with a focus on high-quality neonatal care, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Schedule is 40 hours/week with shifts of 12 or 24 hours, and no formal call expectations.
