Job Description
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) provides expert family-centered care for infants and toddlers up to age 2, delivering primary, acute, chronic, and critical care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treats, and manages neonatal patients, including ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and providing health education.Acts as a leader within healthcare teams, promoting collaboration, open communication, and shared decision-making to ensure quality, safe, and cost-effective care.Participates in quality improvement initiatives and applies evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.Maintains clinical competency, employs safety protocols, and utilizes informatics tools for decision support.Provides mentorship, contributes to professional development, and influences neonatal healthcare policies.Requires a BSN, master’s degree in nursing, neonatal experience, and appropriate certifications and licensure.If passionate about improving children’s health, candidates are encouraged to apply for this full-time or part-time position, offering competitive pay and benefits in Aurora, CO.
