Nephrologist

Job Description

Seeking a Nephrologist to join an interdisciplinary team providing consultative and comprehensive care across outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and hospital settings in Queens, NY.

Responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing kidney diseases, developing personalized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, collaborating with specialists, educating patients and families, maintaining accurate records, and participating in ongoing education.

Skills required are strong knowledge of pathology, geriatrics, hematology, and cardiology related to nephrology, proficiency in care planning, familiarity with CT imaging, BLS certification, understanding behavioral health issues, and excellent communication skills.

The role is full-time, offering a competitive salary ($250k-$300k), benefits (health, dental, vision, malpractice, PTO), and involves in-person work with some travel (25%).
