Job Description
Seeking a Board-Certified Nephrologist to provide on-site care for Veterans at a VA Medical Center.
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient nephrology consults, including AKI, CKD, ESKD, electrolyte disorders, hypertension, nephrolithiasis, kidney transplant management, and extracorporeal treatments.
Oversee kidney replacement therapies such as hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Conduct bedside and clinic visits, document in the electronic health record, and participate in quality and safety processes.
Must be available by phone within 15 minutes and onsite within 60 minutes for on-call coverage, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements include MD/DO, Board Certification or Eligibility in Nephrology, unrestricted medical license, BLS/ACLS, and VA credentialing eligibility.
