Job Description

Seeking a full-time Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join an established team, providing hospital coverage on weekdays and weekends (shared with other providers) and rounding in dialysis units. Outpatient hours are flexible. The ideal candidate is motivated, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and experience in clinical or hospital settings caring for kidney patients.

  • Perform medical histories, physical exams, and recommend relevant studies to support diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation.
  • Assess and treat kidney diseases, including dialysis patients.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and coordinate consultations.
  • Salary ranges from $60-$80/hour with productivity bonuses, plus benefits like 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and flexible scheduling.

    • Requirements include NY licensure, at least 2 years of NP experience (preferably nephrology), certification (ANCC or AANP), DEA eligibility, and the ability to be credentialed at the hospital. Prior nephrology experience is preferred.
