Job Description

This Illinois-based health system is seeking outpatient Neurology physicians for locum tenens coverage starting in 2026.

  • Ideal candidates are full-time or available for two-week blocks (Monday 8AM – Friday 4:30PM) each month, with ongoing scheduling for at least 6 months and potential extension.

  • The position offers a consistent weekday schedule, no night or weekend call, and requires procedures like EMGs and nerve conductions; Botox and lumbar punctures are preferred but not mandatory.

  • Applicants must hold an active Illinois license (CSR preferred) or an active IMQL with IMLC, be board-certified, and have completed ACGME or AOA accredited residency.

  • Expected patient volume is up to 15 per day in an outpatient setting using EPIC EMR.
