Seeking an experienced CTS PA to join a dedicated cardiothoracic surgery team in Lake Charles, LA, with a salary range of $140,000-$150,000 based on experience.
Collaborate with two NPs and board-certified surgeons utilizing advanced technology for heart, lung, and esophageal diseases.Work in a facility featuring a Hybrid OR, TAVR procedures, Robotic Da Vinci thoracic surgery, and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries.Participate in a comprehensive cardiology and thoracic oncology program, supported by state-of-the-art post-op care and hemodynamic monitoring systems.Enjoy opportunities for research, teaching, and community engagement.Responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, outpatient and inpatient care, performing invasive procedures (training provided), and managing pre/post-operative evaluations.Shared call of 1 in 3, with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.Requirements: current BLS and ACLS, active Louisiana PA license or eligibility, Physician Assistant certification, minimum 5 years cardiac surgical experience, and preferably ICU/telemetry experience. Robotic surgery experience is a plus but trainable.Strong teamwork, emotional intelligence, and high-acuity environment adaptability are essential.
