Job Description
Responsible for supervising nursing staff, assigning duties, and promoting teamwork to ensure timely, quality resident care.
Completes rounds, assesses resident needs, and reports concerns promptly.
Communicates with the Director of Nursing regarding staff and resident issues, manages staff discipline, and encourages accountability.
Develops staff goals, maintains professional standards, and serves as a resource for nursing personnel.
Directs and evaluates resident care plans, reviews interventions, and ensures proper documentation and teaching.
Demonstrates clinical competence, manages emergency procedures, and monitors quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications include an active RN license, experience in long-term care, strong communication skills, and physical ability to support resident mobility and safety.
