Nurse Manager

Job Description

Responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring equitable duty distribution, and fostering teamwork to deliver timely, quality resident care.

Completes resident assessments, reports concerns promptly, and updates the Director of Nursing with shift reports and significant events.

Manages staff discipline, promotes accountability, and encourages professionalism to optimize resident outcomes.

Develops staff goals, serves as a resource, and directs patient care using sound nursing judgment.

Collaborates on care plans, reviews and updates resident needs, and ensures appropriate interventions and education.

Maintains knowledge of emergency protocols, safety procedures, and quality improvement processes, including QAPI initiatives.

Qualifications include an RN license, preferred supervisory experience, strong communication skills, physical ability to assist residents, and documentation skills.

Full-time position with a salary range of $65,798 to $109,663 per year, offering benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), continuing education, and paid time off.
