Job Description
The Nurse Manager, L&D oversees daily operations of the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring quality patient care, staff performance, and development.
Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, physicians, and nursing schools to resolve technical and administrative challenges. Requires at least 5 years of L&D experience, current RN license, and certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and Fetal Monitoring. Demands strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage staffing and 24/7 coverage. Requires sound judgment, independent decision-making, and adaptability to complex situations based on hospital policies and best practices. The role is full-time, in person, with a salary range of $70,000 to $130,000 annually.
