Job Description
The Nurse Manager, L&D oversees daily operations in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring quality patient care, staff performance, and staff development.
Promotes collaboration with other departments, physicians, and nursing schools to solve technical and administrative challenges. Requires a minimum of 5 years’ L&D experience, with certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage 24/7 staffing needs. Must have a thorough understanding of OR and L&D protocols, and work independently to adapt best practices as needed. Applicants need a current RN license, and the role involves significant judgment and initiative in complex situations. Job is full-time, with a pay range of $70,000 – $130,000 annually, and requires in-person work.
