Job Description
The Nurse Manager, reporting to the Nurse Director, oversees all unit functions, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Coordinates staffing, admissions, and surge plans, collaborating with supervisors and leadership to adapt to census and service changes. Provides leadership in staff development, onboarding, and maintaining professionalism, certifications, and continuing education. Addresses issues, manages staff schedules, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Optimizes resource utilization, supports team engagement, and fosters a positive, service-oriented environment aligned with ICARE values. Participates in strategic planning, quality improvement, and environment of care reviews. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years clinical experience, RN license, associate’s degree required, bachelor’s preferred, leadership experience is a plus.
