Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive GI care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, Texas.

Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, ethical, and legal standards.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

Work is scheduled for 2 days per week, with potential for additional shifts, on-site in person. Must be able to relocate before starting. Physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols are required.
