Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.

Essential duties include evaluating gastrointestinal and liver conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic GI disorders, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and patient education.

Qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine.

This role is scheduled for two days per week (8 hours each), with potential for additional shifts, requiring on-site presence. The position emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care, teamwork, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical standards. Physical ability to perform clinical tasks and work in a healthcare environment is necessary. Relocation to Snyder, TX, is required prior to start.
