Job Description
The Advance Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive nursing and medical services to family planning clients, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Implements center policies and procedures, ensuring compliance. Collects client histories, conducts counseling, and provides education on reproductive health and birth control options. Performs screenings, interprets lab results, and orders tests following established standards. Prescribes contraceptives and medications per guidelines, and follows legal reporting requirements. Documents client information accurately and collaborates with the Medical Director under a Collaborative Practice Agreement. Participates in policy development and may perform additional duties as assigned. Work is in person in Danville, IL, with full-time, part-time, or PRN options, offering competitive pay and benefits.
Must hold current, unrestricted Illinois prescriptive authority and APRN-NP certification preferred.
