The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing gastrointestinal and liver conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, and educating patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in quality initiatives. The position requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine.

This part-time role is scheduled for two days per week (8 hours each), with potential for additional shifts, and requires on-site work. Candidates must be able to stand, walk, and lift as needed, with exposure to clinical environments and biohazards. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, efficient, and compliant care within a team-oriented, professional setting.
