Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision in a clinical setting in Lubbock, TX.

  • Performs assessments, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, develops treatment plans, prescribes medications, and educates patients on disease management and lifestyle changes.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and maintains accurate clinical documentation.
  • Requires a Master’s in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
  • Works two days per week (8 hours each), with potential for additional shifts, in an in-person, clinical environment. Must be able to relocate to Snyder, TX.
  • Adheres to legal, ethical, and clinical standards, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to quality care.
