Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, Texas.

Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages GI and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Performs assessments, reviews diagnostic tests, and develops treatment plans aligned with evidence-based guidelines.

Prescribes medications, educates patients on disease management, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and maintains accurate documentation.

Participates in clinical and quality improvement activities, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications: Master’s in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience (gastroenterology preferred).

Schedule: Two days per week (8 hours each), with potential for additional shifts. On-site role requiring in-person presence.

Must be able to relocate to Snyder, TX prior to start.
