Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.

Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, and IBD.

Performs assessments, reviews diagnostic tests, and develops treatment plans.

Prescribes medications and educates patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to regulatory standards.

Works two days per week onsite, with potential for additional shifts.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology. The role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and professionalism. Physical ability to work in a clinical environment and relocate to Snyder, TX, is necessary.
