Job Description
This part-time Nurse Practitioner position involves working 12-14 hours weekly, primarily in early evenings.
They will collaborate with the Medical Director to provide primary and acute healthcare to children, oversee nursing staff, and coordinate with other departments to ensure quality medical services.
Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, arranging specialty consultations, reviewing medical recommendations, updating clinic policies, staying current on pediatric health, participating in meetings, providing staff training, and fostering effective communication.
The role requires a NYS-licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges, DEA registration, CPR/PALS certification, and experience with EHRs. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, confidentiality, and physical ability to perform job duties.
