Job Description

Seeking licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) for a 6-12 month contract to perform Compensation & Pension Exams for military Veterans across the USA, starting ASAP.

  • Part-time, flexible schedule: 2 days/week, 8 hours/day, in Aberdeen, SD, with an expected 16 hours/week.
  • Conduct non-treatment exams, review medical histories, and complete electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours.
  • Exams include general medical assessments (musculoskeletal, cardio, respiratory) with ancillary testing as needed.
  • Qualifications include a master’s in Nursing or PA program, active license, primary care experience, good interpersonal skills, and basic computer skills. VA experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
  • Compensation is $70-$75/hour, with benefits including a flexible schedule. Candidates should be able to start within one month and work in person at Aberdeen, SD.
