Job Description

We are a growing provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services in long-term care, supporting over 600 facilities across multiple states and expanding.

Immediate part-time openings in Peoria, IL for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants specializing or interested in geriatric psychiatry.

Qualifications:

• NP or PA degree from an accredited university
• Valid, full license and DEA# in Illinois
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff
• Knowledge of mental health care delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing, prescribing or adjusting psychotropic medications for mostly geriatric patients in various facilities, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure continuity of care. Does not include psychological therapy.

Preferred candidates will have at least 1 year of geriatric mental health experience and familiarity with Medicare standards and documentation.
