Job Description

Seeking an Illinois-licensed Nurse Practitioner for an Oncology practice in Decatur, IL, primarily working in the clinic with occasional travel to other locations.

Summary: Under physician supervision, provides primary healthcare, performs medical services, and supports the hematology/oncology team.

Key Duties: Obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, interpret data, order diagnostics, assist with procedures, administer medications, educate patients, triage calls, evaluate emergencies, ensure continuity of care, participate in professional development, and contribute to quality improvement.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, current Illinois licensure, CPR certification, and EPIC training. Must be organized, adaptable, and skilled in patient communication and confidentiality.

Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to move and support patients, work under stress, and adapt to changing conditions. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and chemotherapeutic agents expected.

Job is full-time, in-person, based in O’Fallon, IL, with a salary between $100,000 and $112,500, requiring relocation before start date.
