Job Description
Seeking an APP to join a nephrology team, collaborating with nephrologists across clinic, inpatient, and dialysis settings.
Assess, diagnose, and manage kidney diseases through comprehensive evaluations, lab/test interpretation, and personalized treatment plans including medications and lifestyle counseling.
Provide outpatient care for chronic kidney disease and hypertension patients.
Perform inpatient rounds to evaluate and manage acute kidney injury, electrolyte issues, and nephrology consults.
Conduct weekly dialysis rounds, address complications, and coordinate with dialysis staff.
Educate patients and families on disease management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications include Kentucky licensure as NP or PA, certification (Adult, Family Practice, or NCCPA), with nephrology or dialysis experience preferred. Full-time position with benefits, requiring relocation to Harlan, KY before starting.
