Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Description

Seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years’ experience in pain management to provide compassionate patient care in a clinic setting. The role involves evaluating patients with proven radiology reports, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing therapies or medications per guidelines.

Responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, performing physical exams and imaging reviews, counseling on treatment and health maintenance, and documenting visits accurately. The position requires travel between two VA locations (Suffolk and Chesapeake) and adherence to licensing, compliance, and safety protocols.
