Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Rheumatology

Job Description

Join our growing Rheumatology team in Peoria, AZ as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and partner with rheumatologists to manage autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop and monitor personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications like DMARDs and biologics.

Provide patient education on disease management, collaborate with healthcare professionals, perform joint injections (training provided), and maintain accurate medical records.

Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

Requirements: Valid NP or PA license with prescriptive authority, certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA), and a background in rheumatology or related fields is a plus but training is available. Strong clinical, communication, and compassionate skills are essential.
