Job Description

This role involves providing supervised healthcare services, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care, under a physician’s guidance.

  • Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and blood work.
  • Manage chronic diseases and identify risk factors.
  • Document medical information accurately and confidentially.
  • Perform Quality Care Screenings and maintain knowledge of Meaningful Use documentation.
  • Prescribe rehabilitation therapy and medications as directed.
  • Educate patients to support informed healthcare decisions.
  • Refer patients to other providers and see patients in hospital and office settings.
  • Provide care in compliance with laws and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Nursing, certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, licensure in Georgia, and experience in acute care, preferably in cardiology. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a pleasant environment are essential. This is a full-time, in-person position offering benefits such as 401(k), health, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off. The role requires commuting to Columbus, GA, and adherence to licensing and certification requirements, including experience in cardiology.
