Job Description

This role involves providing supervised healthcare services, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care, under a physician’s oversight.

  • Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams.
  • Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage chronic diseases and risk factors.
  • Document medical information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Perform quality screenings, prescribe rehab therapies, and educate patients for informed decision-making.
  • Refer patients to specialists, see patients in hospital and office settings, and prescribe medications as authorized.
  • Ensure care aligns with legal requirements and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications: Master’s in Nursing, certified as a Nurse Practitioner, with at least one year of acute care experience, preferably in cardiology. Valid licensure and certifications required. Strong communication skills necessary.

    Work Conditions: Indoor environment, light to moderate physical effort, moderate mental concentration, exposure to health hazards. Full-time, in person, in Columbus, GA, with benefits including health insurance, retirement, and paid time off.
