Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Description

Seeking a full-time healthcare provider to deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive services under physician supervision.

*Key responsibilities include*

• Obtaining medical histories and conducting physical exams
• Ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests and managing chronic conditions
• Identifying risk factors and providing patient education
• Documenting medical information accurately
• Performing quality screenings and prescribing rehab therapies
• Referring patients to specialists, prescribing medications, and providing care in hospital and clinic settings
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and maintaining knowledge of meaningful use standards

*Qualifications include*

• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, with at least one year of acute care experience (cardiology preferred)
• Current licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, and board certification
• Strong communication skills and ability to relate to patients and professionals
