Job Description
Provides primary and episodic patient care independently and collaboratively, following established standards and protocols.
Ensures smooth patient flow and delivers high-quality care, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention through education and care coordination.
Performs comprehensive physical exams, orders and interprets tests, and develops differential diagnoses.
Collaborates with supervising physicians for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpreting results to determine appropriate actions.
Prescribes medications accurately, maintains safety and infection control standards, and adheres to ethical guidelines.
Builds effective relationships with patients and team members, manages sensitive issues with diplomacy, and maintains accurate documentation.
Requires a nursing degree with at least 2 years of clinical experience, board certification as a nurse practitioner, current state licensure, DEA registration, BLS certification, and experience in urgent or emergency care settings.
