Job Description
Seeking a part-time NP/PA to provide clinical care in a nonprofit organization specializing in substance use disorder services.
Responsibilities include interviewing and examining patients, diagnosing, prescribing medications, ordering tests, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with physicians. The role may involve supervising staff, reviewing treatment plans, and participating in case conferences.
Qualifications include a master’s degree from an accredited program, NYS licensure, and at least two years of postgraduate clinical experience. Candidates must adhere to clinical regulations, maintain continuing education, and have strong communication and technical skills.
Additional requirements include a valid NYS driver’s license, no active addiction, and passing background and drug screenings. The position offers $65+ hourly, with 8-35 hours weekly, involving in-person work.
