UConnectCare is a reputable nonprofit serving WNY with over 50 years of substance use disorder services, recognized as a top employer in NY.
NP/PA will conduct patient interviews, examinations, diagnose, prescribe medication, order tests, and consult with physicians as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining records, supervising staff, reviewing treatment plans, counseling clients, and participating in case conferences. Must adhere to clinical OASAS 820 regulations, provide telepractice services, and follow agency policies. Require a graduate degree, NYS licensure, and two years of postgraduate experience; ongoing continuing education is necessary. Strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records are essential. Valid NYS driver’s license, clean activity record, and background check required; position offers full- and part-time hours from $65/hour. Work is in-person, with a focus on compassionate patient care within a collaborative team environment.
