Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant School Based Health Program

Job Description

Seeking a part-time Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care in a community health setting.

Reports to the Chief Medical Officer with no supervisory responsibilities.

Schedule follows the school calendar: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri (7:45am-3:15pm), with summer opportunities for extra pay.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PA or Nurse Practitioner program, current NY licensure, and appropriate certifications.

Responsibilities encompass conducting history and physical exams, diagnosing, managing acute and chronic conditions, ordering tests, and performing minor procedures.

Collaborate with the healthcare team, participate in community health activities, and support patient education and self-management.

Maintain compliance with policies, participate in quality improvement, and stay current with continuing education.

Must be willing to relocate to Marathon, NY, prior to starting. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
