Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant will provide comprehensive psychiatric care in an acute hospital setting.
Perform physical exams, patient assessments, and initial intake evaluations.
Prescribe medication and treatment plans, collaborating with the healthcare team.
Work independently following legal and safety standards, maintaining patient confidentiality.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations.
Respond to emergencies and develop individualized care plans.
Participate in team goals, provide guidance in the absence of leadership, and stay updated on laws and policies.
Qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing, state licensure, DEA certification, and experience in mental health. The role offers full-time employment with benefits and a salary range of $57,219 – $68,909 annually.
