Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in an acute hospital setting.
Perform physical exams, patient observations, and initial assessments for intake. Prescribe medications and treatment interventions aligned with patient needs. Collaborate with the behavioral health team to coordinate treatments, medical plans, and records. Work independently following safe practice standards and maintain HIPAA compliance. Must be licensed in Indiana with current DEA certification and obtain X-waiver for prescribing Suboxone/Subutex. Provide episodic, preventive, and acute care, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress. Maintain medical records and adhere to all legal, accreditation, and organizational policies. Participate in team efforts, seek guidance when needed, and ensure ethical and professional conduct.Qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proper licensure and certifications.
