Job Description

The Mid-Level Provider (NP/PA) primarily delivers holistic, evidence-based patient care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management, documenting all encounters in Athenahealth.

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, active Texas license, accreditation, and certification exams (e.g., ANCC, PANCE).
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience, strong communication, organizational, and tech skills, proficiency in English and Spanish, and BLS certification.

    • Responsibilities include evaluating patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing procedures, counseling, developing care plans, and ensuring continuity of care. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, maintaining patient confidentiality, managing clinic operations, and fostering positive team relationships.

  • Works independently, prioritizes tasks, advocates for patients, and participates in continuing education. Physical requirements include mobility and vision capabilities necessary for clinical tasks.
