Job Description
This full-time Nursing Supervisor role reports directly to the CNO and oversees maternal and neonatal services.
Demonstrates proficiency in nursing fundamentals, data collection, and reporting for state programs. Manages the State Maternal and Neonatal Registry, Designations Program, and Perinatal Patient Safety Program. Develops policies, oversees staffing, and schedules for the Labor and Delivery unit. Leads quality assurance, performance improvement, and staff education initiatives, including annual competency assessments. Provides staff coverage when needed and participates in administrative call rotation. Requires physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, work in a clinical environment, and handle stressful situations. Qualifications include current RN licensure, BSN (Masters preferred), and certifications such as BLS and fetal monitoring. Additional certifications within 18 months are preferred.
