Job Description
This full-time nursing leadership role reports to the CNO and oversees maternal and neonatal programs, registries, and safety initiatives.
Demonstrates proficiency in nursing fundamentals and leads data collection and reporting for state programs. Manages the Maternal and Neonatal Registry, Designations Program, and Perinatal Patient Safety Program. Develops policies, oversees staffing, scheduling, and quality improvement plans for the Labor and Delivery unit. Performs annual clinical competency assessments and provides staff education on performance improvement. Supports staffing needs, including staffing the units and taking one week of administrative call per month. Requires current RN licensure, a BSN (MS preferred), and certifications such as BLS and fetal monitoring, with additional certifications within 18 months. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, work in a clinical environment, and handle stressful situations.
Work hours may be irregular, with physical and OSHA exposure considerations. Salary range: $41.00 – $73.96/hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
Relocation to Brownfield, TX is required before starting.
