Job Description

This full-time nursing leadership role reports to the CNO and oversees maternal and neonatal programs, registries, and safety initiatives.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in nursing fundamentals and leads data collection and reporting for state programs.
  • Manages the Maternal and Neonatal Registry, Designations Program, and Perinatal Patient Safety Program.
  • Develops policies, oversees staffing, scheduling, and quality improvement plans for the Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Performs annual clinical competency assessments and provides staff education on performance improvement.
  • Supports staffing needs, including staffing the units and taking one week of administrative call per month.
  • Requires current RN licensure, a BSN (MS preferred), and certifications such as BLS and fetal monitoring, with additional certifications within 18 months.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, work in a clinical environment, and handle stressful situations.
  • Work hours may be irregular, with physical and OSHA exposure considerations.
  • Salary range: $41.00 – $73.96/hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • Relocation to Brownfield, TX is required before starting.
