Job Description

Under the supervision of the CNO, this role involves administering nursing fundamentals, data collection for State Maternal and Neonatal Programs, and overseeing the State Maternal and Neonatal Registry, Designations Program, and Perinatal Patient Safety Program. Responsibilities include developing policies, managing staffing and scheduling for the Labor and Delivery Unit, and overseeing quality assurance and performance improvement plans. The position requires annual clinical competency assessments, staff education, and providing nursing coverage when needed, with one week of administrative call per month.

Physical demands include light lifting, prolonged sitting or walking, and working in a controlled environment with potential stress. OSHA exposure classification is Job Category I.

Qualifications include current RN licensure, a BSN (MS preferred), effective communication skills, and professional standards awareness. Required certifications include BLS and fetal monitoring; additional certifications are preferred within 18 months.

Full-time position with benefits, salary range $41.00 – $73.96/hour, based in Brownfield, TX, with relocation required. Work involves in-person duties, averaging 40 hours weekly.
