Job Description
Join our healthcare team as an ObGyn Hospitalist Physician working 10-hour night shifts from 9 pm to 7 am, with a minimum of 3 shifts per month and flexible options for more.
This is a 1099 position requiring self-managed malpractice and tail insurance, ideal for physicians seeking to reduce private OB coverage or focus on clinic work without fully leaving OB practice.
The role involves admitting and managing L&D and postpartum patients, evaluating triage cases, responding to ED or floor consults, considering transfers, and managing discharge and medication orders. The L&D unit handles nearly 100 deliveries monthly in a Level 2 nursery, with transfer options to a Level 3 facility for high-risk cases.
A surgical support team is available at all times for procedures such as C-sections and ectopic pregnancies.
Requirements include a medical degree with board certification or eligibility in ObGyn, valid Texas medical license, and inpatient obstetrics experience.
Pay ranges from $190.00 to $235.00 per hour with a flexible schedule and in-person work location.
